Kia Ora, Talofa Lava, Mālō e Lelei, Ni Sa Bula Vinaka, Fakalofa Lahi Atu, Kia Orana!

E ngā whānau o tō tātou kura me te rohe hoki, tēnā koutou katoa.  E ngā ākonga hou me o koutou whānau, nau mai, haere mai ki te whānau o te kura tuarua o Tā Hīrere.

To all rangatahi and their whānau at our school and within our community, a very warm welcome to Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate.

We are very proud of our Senior School which has challenged and supported young people since 1966. For over 50 years Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate (SEHC) ākonga have been nurtured within a culture of respect, inspired to learn by committed teachers, and empowered to become lifelong global learners and achievers.

Our core values of Whanaungatanga, Excellence and Respect are at the heart of everything we do as we strive to enable positive, supportive relationships between staff, students and the wider school community.

Students at SEHC are encouraged to pursue greatness beyond what’s just in front of them, to strive for excellence, to persevere and to allow their culture to be a carrier of their success.

‘Whāia te iti kahurangi ki te tūohu koe me he maunga teitei’ – pursue that which is most precious and if you bow your head, let it be to a lofty mountain.
